"It is easy to let the days fly by without taking note. Life is beautiful. Soak it in, think about it, and be grateful" ~Unknown
The other day I went on a little walk down the fields near my house. I used to go running down these tracks every week; I know it the pathway better than I know myself. It's really gorgeous around this time of year; when the sky performs a dramatic romance of sweeping colours and gradients.
I wish I had more time to do this walk more... but more often than not I'll either be super busy; or I'll be too lazy/cold/tired to leave the house.
I didn't last very long out on my walk. I had neglected to bring my gloves, and at -5 degrees when you've constantly got your hands out so that you can use your camera, your hands kinda freeze up a bit. I swear my hands were numb by the time I got home... not fun. But it was worth it.
It was worth it for every shot that I took. It was worth it for the breath of fresh air that I have been longing for for so long. And it was worth it for the moment when I got to the top of the hill -looking over the fields, and the house,s and the trees, and the sky- and saw how beautiful it was.
I really don't appreciate how beautiful this world is enough. I don't think anyone does.
