My Blogging Goals | July

Sunday, 1 July 2018

Happy Sunday, friend!

Today, I'm setting some new goals.

I've really enjoyed getting back into the swing of things in the blogosphere.

You might remember the post I published to commemorate my return to the blogging world at the start of June, but if you don't- you can check it out right here. After having taken a three-month hiatus to temporarily refocus my priorities, I feel like I have come back to Sara Louisa with a new found enthusiasm for creating quality content for all of you lovely people.

Why I Don't Give A Toss About The Size of My Clothes

Sunday, 17 June 2018

First off, I want to start by apologizing for the not-so-blog-worthy photos that are making it in this post... It's surprisingly difficult to get good outfit photos when you live on your own and all your friends and family are too busy to help out, lol. Also, excuse my white legs. Seems like they've somewhat missed out on all the sunny weather (despite me constantly wearing the shortest shorts I could possibly find).

This month, H&M finally changed the size of its clothing. For as long as I can remember, I have always struggled to get clothes that fit the first time in h&m... I love the clothes there, but it can be a bit much when you have to try 4 or 5 different sizes of jeans to find the perfect fit.

It's Been Three Months... Here's What's Happened

Sunday, 10 June 2018

It's been a while since I last sat down on my sofa to write a blog post. I've got a wee cup of green tea by my side, and I'm feeling good.

It's good to be back.

Three Kick-Ass Bloggers to Follow NOW

Sunday, 18 March 2018

I really shouldn't be writing this.

What I should be doing, is sitting in the library and getting my head down to get a start on the stack of assignments that I have piling up... yet, here I am.

I've always held tight to the belief that bloggers need other bloggers- in my last blogger recommendation post, I was reminded that We rise by lifting others.

It's so important to appreciate the work that other gals are doing in our field so that we can cheer each other on to achieve great things... and that's exactly what I intend to do in this post.

Reykjavik & Beyond: Adventure to Iceland

Sunday, 18 February 2018

My most important New Years Resolution this year was to take every opportunity that came my way; to live a life with no regrets, so that in the future I can look back at these years and say yes, I did do everything that I wanted to do.

So when I returned to university in January and a couple of my friends suggested a short break to travel to Iceland, I was completely on board. Within just under three weeks, me and 5 other girls from my course arranged flights, accommodation, and tours around the beautiful country of Iceland.

50 Blog Post Ideas For Every Kind of Blogger

Sunday, 4 February 2018

There's a big pile of washing waiting to be done, but I want to get this post written up before I do the housework. Today has been a surprisingly productive day and I'm super proud of myself for that, especially since I haven't been feeling super motivated lately... lol.

Ironically, I actually really struggled deciding what I wanted to write this post about, so I started brainstorming a couple of different blog post ideas. One idea became 10, and before I knew it I had 50 pretty generic blog post ideas sprawled out on an A4 page in front of me.

15 Things That Make Me A Stereotypical 'White Girl'

Monday, 22 January 2018

I don't know about you, but I actually really love those 'common white girl' accounts on Twitter, and I often have a good wee laugh about how much I relate to the things they tweet about. Half of the time, I'm like OH MY GOODNESS SOMEONE ELSE DOES THAT TOO?! and then the other half I'm like, wait... doesn't everyone do that?

One of my close friends, Ethan, has teased me for being a 'typical white girl' for years, so I thought it would be a good laugh to compile a little list of some of the things that make me a stereotypical 'white girl'

4 Lifechanging Poetry Books That You NEED To Read Right Now

Sunday, 14 January 2018

Hiya loves! It's 1pm right now, and I'm still in my pajamas and in bed. Last week was my last 'week off' before the uni madness begins again, so I decided to take a couple of days off work to catch up with the blog, and too just chill for once.

Sources of Inspiration for 2018

Sunday, 7 January 2018

Hello you lovely bunch!

It's been a while since I last posted on here; two months and 14 days to be exact. Despite my very best intentions of keeping up with posting twice a week over the winter period, it just wasn't manageable. In the midst of things in the early weeks of December I was juggling my biggest deadlines of last semester in uni, as well as working full time hours in a very hectic restaurant in the city centre. Those of you who work/have worked in hospitality over the festive season will know my struggle.

But I'm back now, and I'm so ready to delve right back into the wonderful world of blogging.

I've got a lot to catch up on.
